We’re looking for a proactive and driven Business Agent to take the lead in finding buyers and negotiating successful business sales. If you’re commercially minded, thrive in a fast-paced sales environment, and love connecting people to opportunities — this role is for you.

Find the Right Buyers, Close the Right Deals

As a Business Agent at Agent Local, you’ll be responsible for finding qualified buyers for the businesses we represent. Working from a live portfolio of active listings, you’ll take full ownership of buyer generation, engagement, and deal negotiation — helping sellers secure strong offers with speed and confidence.

You won’t be chasing listings or cold-calling business owners — your focus is solely on matchmaking deals. Using a combination of buyer databases, inbound enquiries, proactive outreach, and market insight, you’ll find the right acquirer for each business and manage the negotiation from interest to offer.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Take the lead on selling businesses by finding, qualifying, and managing buyers
  • Respond to inbound buyer enquiries and conduct proactive outreach to new prospects
  • Present businesses in a compelling, professional way and arrange buyer meetings or viewings
  • Negotiate offers and terms directly with buyers
  • Work closely with our internal admin, legal, and marketing teams to progress each deal
  • Maintain accurate records of buyer activity and updates in our CRM
  • Help drive faster completions by keeping momentum with both parties

What You Bring:

  • Experience in B2B or consultative sales — ideally in business brokerage, property, recruitment, or financial services
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills with a confident, professional manner
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage a portfolio of deals simultaneously
  • Ability to build trust quickly with buyers and sellers
  • Organised and detail-oriented with strong CRM discipline
  • Commercially aware, with a keen eye for deal potential and buyer fit
